The guide

Your first campaign, start to finish

Setup takes about five minutes. After that, your only job is reviewing drafts and hitting send.

01

Install the extension & sign in

Install ocuro from the Chrome Web Store link in your invite, then pin it to your toolbar. Click the winged-foot icon to open the ocuro side panel and hit Sign in with Google.

Google will ask you to approve access. This is how ocuro gets permission to read your lead sheet and create drafts in your Gmail. Google issues secure tokens; ocuro never sees your password.

Seeing "Google hasn't verified this app"? That's expected while our Google verification is in progress. Click Continue. It's the same permission screen either way.
02

Introduce yourself

Tell ocuro your full name, your company name, and your company website. The AI uses this to write in your voice. Every email is signed by you and grounded in what your company actually does.

03

Connect your lead sheet

Paste the URL of your Google Sheet, pick the tab with your leads, and paste the column headers ocuro gives you into Row 1. ocuro verifies the headers and connects the campaign.

Have leads in a CSV instead? Import it from the panel. ocuro maps the columns automatically and appends the leads to your sheet.

Tip: your sheet is always the source of truth. Add rows any time; ocuro picks them up on its own.
04

ocuro researches & drafts

For each lead, ocuro's AI researches the person and company on the live web, then writes a personalized first-touch email. Drafts appear in your Gmail Drafts folder, each with a recommended send time.

Drafts arrive steadily, a throttled batch at a time, respecting your daily limit. You're never buried.

05

Review & hit send

Open each draft in Gmail, give it a read, and send it. Or use Gmail's "Schedule send". Because every email leaves from your own account, in your own voice, on your say-so, deliverability and trust stay yours.

Don't like a draft? Just delete it in Gmail. ocuro notices and automatically writes you a fresh version, usually within about 10 minutes.
06

Follow-ups run themselves

The moment you send, ocuro notices and schedules the next step of a 13-step follow-up sequence. Each follow-up is written fresh and drafted into your Gmail on the right day.

When a prospect replies or an email bounces, ocuro detects it and pauses that lead's sequence automatically. Every status is written back to your sheet.

Tips & tricks

Get the most out of ocuro

Redo a draft by deleting it

The fastest feedback there is: delete a draft in Gmail and ocuro writes that lead a brand-new email. No button needed.

Set a daily draft limit

New first-emails per day, capped at whatever matches your sending capacity. Follow-ups are never limited.

Pick your sending days

Drafts are only generated on the weekdays you choose. Replies and sends are still tracked every day.

Send-time notes, optional

Each draft can include a recommended send time. Turn the note off in the panel to get drafts fully ready to send as-is.

Import leads from CSV

Drag a CSV into the panel. Columns map automatically, duplicates are skipped, and rows land in your sheet.

Claim your leaderboard name

Set a display name in the panel and watch your replies climb the board. Filter it by today, week, month, quarter, year, or all time.

Dark mode

The moon button in the panel header flips the whole panel to a dark theme. It remembers your choice.

Refer a friend

Enter a friend's email in the panel. When their first email is written within 5 days of signing up, you both get $5 of credit.

Pause any time

The big button up top pauses all new drafting instantly. Detection keeps running, so nothing is missed while you're away.

Billing

Simple, usage-based pricing

25¢ per email written. Billed monthly, after usage, through Stripe. No seats, no minimums.

Where do I manage billing?+
The Billing card at the bottom of the side panel. Add a payment method, see this month's usage and estimated bill, or open the Stripe portal to change your card and view invoices.
I have a code. Where does it go?+
Type it into the "Have a code?" box in the Billing card and hit Apply. Codes can change your pricing or comp your account entirely; the card shows exactly what's active.
How does the give $5, get $5 referral work?+
Enter your friend's email in the panel. When their first email is written within 5 days of signing up, you both get $5 of credit — 20 emails each. Credit is used up automatically before anything is billed, and your friend's credit works before they even add a card.
FAQ

Every question we've been asked

Does ocuro ever send emails by itself?+
No, never. Every email is a draft in your Gmail until you personally send it. ocuro's job ends at writing; yours starts at the send button.
Why does Google say "Google hasn't verified this app"?+
ocuro is invite-only and currently going through Google's formal verification process. The warning is standard for apps at this stage. Click Continue; the permissions you approve are identical either way, and you can revoke them any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Why do I have to sign in again every week?+
During the verification period, Google limits sign-ins to 7 days. When yours expires, the dot next to your email turns red and a re-authentication button appears in the panel. One click fixes it. This limit disappears once Google's verification completes.
No new drafts today. What should I check?+
In order: Is the big button green ("Going :-)")? Is today one of your sending days? Have you hit your daily draft limit? Are yesterday's drafts still sitting unsent in Gmail (a lead's next email is only written after the previous one is actually sent and its wait time passes)? And does the Billing card show an active plan or code?
What can ocuro see in my Google account?+
Your basic profile, the one spreadsheet you connect, and your Gmail drafts plus the outreach threads ocuro created. It cannot read the rest of your inbox. The privacy policy has the complete list.
How does ocuro know someone replied?+
It watches the conversations it created. A reply pauses that lead's sequence and marks the sheet; a bounce flags the lead so you don't chase a dead address.
Can I edit drafts before sending?+
Absolutely. They're normal Gmail drafts. Edit freely and send when ready; ocuro tracks the send either way.
How do I stop, or leave entirely?+
Pause stops new drafting instantly. "Disconnect sheet" ends the campaign. To delete your data entirely, email support@useocuro.com and we'll remove your stored leads, generated emails, and tokens.
Something else is off. Who do I ask?+
support@useocuro.com. A human reads it.

That's everything. Go send.

Bring your leads. ocuro brings the words.
